WINCHESTER, Mass. -- Thousands lined the streets of Winchester Monday to welcome home the hometown silver medalist from the summer Olympics.

Gymnast Alicia Sacramone waved to her fans along the parade route as they cheered her return.

She and her American teammates placed second in the team gymnastics competition earlier this month.

Alicia finished fourth in the individual vault after a fall, but she called the reception she got upon returning home a real pick-me-up.

The 20-year-old said after a short vacation, she will start training for the 2012 games in London.
