Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is also making the trip, the Anchorage Daily News reported.

The leaders will discuss national economic challenges.

Obama asked the National Governors' Association to help coordinate the meeting on Tuesday with governors from across the country to discuss national economic challenges and economic challenges within the states.

Tuesday morning, Jindal will meet with Obama, Vice President-elect Joe Biden and governors from across the country. They will meet at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
